Our topic this month for our Trends and Changes in ICT Series. is "How are you going to staff your  company's ICT ?"   by Heather Chase,   If you’ve picked up a newspaper or tuned into the news, you are no doubt aware of the critical issues that will be facing companies in the near future.  Access to skilled and qualified labour will be the number one business constraint for growth in New Brunswick.TOPIC:  How are you going to staff your  company's ICT ?

Speaker: Heather Chase, Enterprise Network representative for the NBICT-HR Committee.

Event Overview –  In this session on How are you going to staff your company's ICT ?" will include a brief overview of national labour market trends for the ICT industry, a highlight of key elements from the strategic plan that was developed from the Enterprise Network Information Technology Adjustment Committee, as well as a look at career management for ICT professionals in the changing labour market.

Heather Chase - Biography Heather Chase is the Project Manager, Human Resources and Skills Development with the Enterprise Network.  With close to 10 years experience in human resources management she has helped many organizations maximize the return on their human resource investments, from the global leader in telecommunications to small New Brunswick based businesses and non-profits.  In her current role, her primary focus is on facilitating strategic responses to specific labour force development issues in the province, within the community economic development framework. In October 2004, Heather was awarded her Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation and received the top score in the province that year.
